Thanks to your generous support, 2022 was an exciting year for us. We provided 3,000 books to 1,350 students, and became a nonprofit organization with our new name – Pageturner!

Now, Pageturner is excited to announce our campaign to further Independent Reading, Exploration, and Discovery (IREAD).

Last year you donated more than 3,000 Kindles – more than in any year since our founding in 2011.  As a result, Pageturner is in an incredible position to launch IREAD.

We are marshaling our supporters to ensure we can meet these goals:

1. Enroll 2,000 students in the Pageturner program.
2. Guarantee each student has access to the books they choose.
3. Provide a case and charger for every student’s device.
4. Ensure funding to keep IREAD running throughout 2023 and beyond.

Thanks to you, we have the Kindles! But books, cases, and chargers are expensive. Now, we are asking for your help to raise $35,000 to achieve the rest of our goals.

We are energized by our mission to catalyze young people’s curiosity and independence by connecting them with unlimited access to the books they want to read. We do not choose books for our young readers – they do. Encouraging independent reading helps inspire students to become lifelong readers, and that is our ultimate goal.

If our work and our mission align with your values, please donate now to help us implement our IREAD goals.

Thank you for your continuing commitment to the reading lives of young people. Together, we have made a difference — and together, we will make an even bigger impact in 2023 and beyond.

With gratitude,

Mark Isero, Founder and Executive Director, the young readers you continue to support, and the all-volunteer team at Pageturner.
